The Artist Journey: An Ode to the Muse
“Creativity is an act of faith, a spiritual transaction.” — Julia Cameron
During this creative journey, you’ll be gently immersed in the natural rhythms of the earth—each day unfolding in harmony with the elements, from sunrise meditations to moonlit gatherings. Set in a breathtaking sanctuary in the heart of the Peloponnese, this retreat is an invitation to return to yourself through creativity, nature, and soulful connection.
We believe that creativity is a sacred expression of the spirit, and this retreat is designed to nurture both. Our days will flow with slow, intentional practices that awaken the senses and inspire the soul. Through hands-on workshops with art therapist Tatjana Lucia, in making paint pigment, natural dyeing, earthen ceramics, life drawing and painting, we will explore the artist within.
Surrounded by 60 acres of Greek wildness, the retreat space feels like a private island—tucked between the mountains and the sea, with forest paths, sweeping Mediterranean views, and a hidden cove at the end of a quiet track lined with wild herbs. Here, we are invited to wander, swim, and reconnect with nature’s quiet magic.
Our beloved herbalist Amanda, The Wild Tea Lady, joins us—offering her deep-rooted wisdom of plant medicine, ceremonial teas, and over five decades of devotion to the natural world. Her presence adds a sacred thread to the journey, weaving botanical teachings with personal transformation.
In true Greek tradition, each day will be grounded by shared meals—slow, nourishing, and made with love. Our chefs will prepare vibrant, seasonal food using organic ingredients grown or foraged on the land, creating a culinary experience that nourishes both body and spirit.

The Sanctuary
Set within a 60-acre private nature reserve in the heart of the Peloponnese, Meadowsweet in Greece is a retreat where forest, sea, and mountain harmoniously converge. Surrounded by ancient pines, olive groves, and wild herbs growing along the pathway to a private cove with crystal waters, the sanctuary feels like a land-locked island — secluded, elemental, and deeply inspiring.
Following a sensitive renovation by a Greek-English artist, each room in this historic villa reflects quiet elegance — blending original stonework with softly painted palettes, natural textures, and nature inspired artwork. Legend whispers that the villa was once owned by a relative of Princess Diana, lending a gentle echo of heritage to this timeless space.
The bedrooms are each uniquely beautiful, offering either garden, mountain, or expansive sea views. All are filled with thoughtful details and layered comforts, inviting deep rest after days of creativity and connection. A private guest cottage sits just above the main house, with its own spacious living area, kitchen, and sweeping views over the ocean — ideal for those seeking extra seclusion within the retreat.
From the shaded kitchen terrace to the wide open lawns, the retreat invites us to move slowly and with intention. You might wake to the sound of goat bells in the hills, or fall asleep to the steady hum of cicadas echoing through the olive trees.
Whether held within the sanctuary of the villa or out in the wild Peloponnesian landscape, this is a space to remember your essence — where beauty, silence, and soulful creativity return you gently to yourself.
Your Guides
This retreat is more than a creative escape — it’s a shared unfolding, gently guided by three women who each bring their own craft, depth, and devotion to the journey. Together, they hold a space for you to remember your own rhythm, your own voice, your own way of seeing. This is not about teaching from the front, but walking beside you — listening, witnessing, and inviting you into a process that is both deeply personal and beautifully collective.
