There is a small kiln where we will fire our raku pieces. It is important to note that the emphasis of thIs week is not on achieving completed pieces, but on exploring the techniques, learning what can happen with consistency, inspiration and nurturing your creativity through different mediums.

As a testament to the retreat's exclusivity, esteemed indigenous tribe photographer Phoebe Montague will offer participants the extraordinary opportunity for a one-on-one photoshoot. Allow her discerning lens to capture the essence of your artistic journey, immortalizing the transformative moments that unfold.

YOUR INVESTMENT

Standard accommodation is based upon shared twin rooms with another person joining the retreat, however if you prefer your privacy there are various rates for your own double room or our Fig Tree Cottage, with its own living room and kitchen.

If you would like to share any of these private rooms with a partner, family or friends you will be charged an additional €1500 per person.

    Double room with shared bathroom: €3150 per person

    Olive Tree Cottage is a short 5 minute walk from the main retreat house and swimming pool

  • King size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower: €3250 per person

  • Shared twin room with shared bathroom: €2750 per person

  • Master suite with king size bed and ensuite bathroom with bathtub: €3500 per person

  • Fig Tree private cottage with it’s own kitchen, living space and bathroom: €3750 per person

FAQ

  • Airport transfers from Pisa or Florence airport in a shared minibus taxi €75pp

  • A deposit of €500 must be paid to secure your spot and the remainder amount paid at least 30 days before the start of the retreat.

  • We are able to offer payment plans, please e-mail us to find out more. As our retreats are small and intimate, every spot on the retreat is incredibly important to us so please book with intention to make it.

  • Refunds for the remaining amount depends on when we receive the cancellation. Should you need to cancel with more than 6 weeks until the retreat date, we charge a 250 EUR cancellation fee and you will be refunded 250 EUR (50% of the 500 EUR deposit). Should you need to cancel between 6 and 2 weeks of the retreat date, you will forfeit the 500 EUR deposit. Finally, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 2 weeks of the retreat date.

    *Due to current COVID restrictions and the unpredictability of what the next months will hold, we will continuously monitor the COVID situation in the Italy. Should we have to cancel the retreat, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.

    **All guests must obtain their own medical insurance before attending Meadowsweet Retreat as we are in a very wild location with mountainous terrain and there is the possibility of seeing snakes.
